Hemant founded Samaniz after twenty years operating enterprise data platforms at a global open source software company, most recently as a Director of Software Engineering.
He spent nine years as a Principal Database Administrator: leading the offshore DBA team through an Oracle E-Business Suite reimplementation, deploying Oracle RAC at enterprise scale, and building disaster recovery across Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB. He later led Database and Business Intelligence teams, then six years of Site Reliability Engineering — latterly as Director, running the global organisation behind a managed Kubernetes platform delivered on AWS, Azure and GCP.
